Prairie Surfers the History
The term Prairie Surfers was coined in 1998 by writer and Director J.G. Evans. That same year the first copyright was awarded to Mr. Evans. Following the writing of the story a short film was made starring four up and coming actors. The original short was made using a 16mm camera from Russia. While the motion picture was not as successful do to the technology of the time, the script competed in some of the biggest competitions in the industry including AMPASS Nicholls Fellowship, Disney Writers Competition, Austin Screenwriters, Chicago CineStory. Today the next adventure is being developed due to the improved access to better quality production standards.
