Can you really Surf on the Prairie? Prairie Surfing

Yes. You can surf on the Prairie. The term Prairie Surfers sounds cool and funny at the same time. It sounds funny because no one expects to surf on the prairie. But it is cool because yes Oklahoma
is actually one of the best places for surfers. Now of course you will have to wait to see the video
on the official website before you will learn what I'm talking about.

Prairie Surfers the History

The term Prairie Surfers was coined in 1998 by writer and Director J.G. Evans. That same year the first copyright was awarded to Mr. Evans. Following the writing of the story a short film was made starring four up and coming actors. The original short was made using a 16mm camera from Russia. While the motion picture was not as successful do to the technology of the time, the script competed in some of the biggest competitions in the industry including AMPASS Nicholls Fellowship, Disney Writers Competition, Austin Screenwriters, Chicago CineStory. Today the next adventure is being developed due to the improved access to better quality production standards.
